Oh such a great tradition whenever visiting family! The lightest Papadoms ever, with dips that will give you just the right kick. I can't help ordering my favorite every time: Chicken Tikka Shahee - (a minced lamb sauce). Top it all off with wonderful service and you just can't go wrong.

I used to eat here regularly 20 years ago when I was living in Todmorden. The restaurant introduced me to papadoms, samosas, raita, and Madras curry. Oh, and Kingfisher beer. Back then they also served a lovely champagne ice cream for dessert - I'm not sure if they still have it because their online menu doesn't include desserts. Glad to know they're still around. If I'm ever in Britain again, I will definitely visit Agra!

This restaurant is an old barn converted to its present status, not easy to find but good parking facilites. The ambient on the upstairs bar was good with its mood lighting, the service was a little slow but waiters were freindly. The food was great my fave was the lamb bhuna.

If you're looking for fantastic Asian food at reasonable prices, combined with great service, then look no further than the Agra. And if you say it quickly, you might even rasie a titter! It's a little out of the way but there's plenty of parking available and it's worth it for the great range of curries they serve. The staff are always friendly and polite and the popularity of this restaurant shows in the sheer number of people who visit. It gets busy at weekends, so you'd be advised to either book or prepare yourself for a wait at the bar before getting a table.

A quite nice Indian with excellent parking facilities serves all the normal fayre and some unusual dishes. Pricewise its about average a main course with rice around £9. Would reccomend the Rogan Josh.
